ocated in the Uraga region of the Guji Zone in the town of Solomo exist some of the most idyllic coffee growing conditions in the world. With Altitudes up to 2300 m heirloom varieties such as Gurme and Dega are grown in well draining red/brown soil. These conditions coupled with meticulous and detailed production practices have led to the sweetness and clarity of flavor found in this coffee. Only 100% ripe cherries are selected which are sorted and pulped using a Agard, 4 disks pulper. The coffee is then fermented for 48-72 hrs depending on the weather followed by a 12 hour soaking phase before being dried under net shades for 12-15 days.
We roast and ship orders on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Orders placed after 8am on Tuesdays and Thursdays will be roasted and shipped on the next roast day. We provide $5.00 flat rate priority mail with USPS for all orders.
